I picked up a 10" Dobsonian reflector telescope for my birthday in 2011. Most of the pictures here were taken from my telescope in my backyard.
Aurora
We had an aurora visible all the way down in Wisconsin on November 17, 2015. Here is a gif I made from pictures from a tripod taken over an hour.
The Moon 🌜 🌚 🌛 🌝
My goal is to fill this out when I get a shot of the moon in all of it's phases.

This image does not do justice to what you can see with your eyes through a telescope but I was able to capture this on a clear night.
